In this day and age it is horrid we have to even begin such a dialogue. We do not need barbaric torturous tests period! There are other more effective methods. Sentient beings that are voiceless and not cognitive to understand what is happening but they DO UNDERSTAND AND FEEL terror, fear, pain. Our hard earned money should NOT be spent torturing sentient beings. Period. Evolve – this day and age we know better and can use other very effective models. Period.

As others have already pointed out, technology available today makes experimentation on animals unnecessary. This entrenched system is part of the “swamp” that needs to be “drained,” President Trump! Please make it a priority!
