Lawmakers, 77% Of Taxpayers Really Want Probe Into If COVID-19 Leaked From Wuhan Animal Lab

More than a year into the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re as in the dark as ever about the origins of the virus that took over our world.

A brand new poll finds taxpayers both sides of the aisle, along with lawmakers, are joining WCW in saying 🦠it’s way past time for real answers🦠—including finding out whether the virus sprung from a leak at the Wuhan Animal Lab, and its perilous taxpayer-funded coronavirus experiments.

The poll of over 1,000 taxpayers was taken by Lincoln Park Strategies in March 2021. In it, 84 percent of Republicans and 76 percent of Democrats said they support a U.S.-led investigation into where COVID-19 came from.

They want that probe to look seriously at the lab leak hypothesis.

Did the COVID-19 virus leak from perilous experiments on coronavirus-infected bats at the Wuhan Animal Lab? Over a year into the pandemic, we still don’t know. Taxpayers and lawmakers agree with WCW that it’s time for the U.S. to lead an independent investigation to find out.

And again, just so this doesn’t get lost, because it’s really important:

This is a truly, deeply bipartisan result.

Everyone wants to know what happened, so we can stop it from happening it again.

That’s why WCW and the Organic Consumers Association are urging President Biden to support an independent investigation.

It’s what the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Post  are calling for, too.

ICYMI: The NY Post editorial on this matter quotes WCW founder and president Anthony Bellotti!

Lawmakers are also joining us in taking action to get answers:

🦠 Working with WCW, 28 lawmakers are pressing the Health and Human Services Inspector General for an investigation into the relationship between the National Institutes of Health, which is part of HHS, and the Wuhan animal lab.

🦠 Rep Bill Posey (R-FL) has introduced the PREPARE Act to form a bipartisan commission to investigate COVID’s origins.

🦠 Rep. Guy Reschenthaler, who signed the recent letter to the HHS IG, has introduced a bill to completely defund EcoHealth Alliance—the shady U.S. nonprofit that WCW exposed for breaking federal law by not disclosing how much taxpayer money it sent to the Wuhan animal lab.

🦠 Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA)—who signed the WCW-backed letter last year to block stimulus funding for the Wuhan Institute of Virology—is demanding info from HHS and the Director of National Intelligence about their probes into COVID’s origins, including what they have investigated and learned about the lab.

🦠 Reps. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA), Morgan Griffith (R-VA), and Brett Guthrie (R-KY) are calling on the NIH to fully investigate COVID’s origins, and pursue scientific answers about what role the Wuhan animal lab played in the pandemic.

There’s a lot we don’t know yet about where COVID-19 came from and how it turned into a pandemic.

The probe that WCW, taxpayers, and Congress are calling for would provide answers we desperately need, and that we deserve.

And in the meantimesomething we know right now with 100 percent certainty is that taxpayer dollars should NOT be handed over to the Wuhan animal lab for cruel experiments that put our lives at risk.

Please help by signing our petition, telling the government to permanently STOP shipping your tax dollars to the Wuhan Animal Lab for wasteful, cruel, and dangerous animal experiments!
