EXCLUSIVE: Bipartisan Congressional Group Presses Fauci On Abusive Animal Testing At His Agency https://t.co/tB8noVzSil
— Daily Caller (@DailyCaller) October 22, 2021
When WCW exposed that the National Institutes of Health was funding wasteful and deadly experiments on puppies — aka BeagleGate — we wanted answers.
Now Congress wants answers, too.
On October 21, 2021, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) and twenty-two additional Republican and Democrat Members of Congress sent a letter to Dr. Anthony Fauci — who heads the NIH division funding the tests — demanding information about the horrific beagle experiments that White Coat Waste Project recently exposed.
Now, you might be asking “which experiments?” — a fair question, because we’ve exposed a lot of them! — but the target of Congressional ire in this letter are NIH’s poisoning and de-barking experiments.
To refresh your memory: these are the tests where white coats at a for-hire laboratory used your tax dollars to slash beagles’ vocal cords so they couldn’t cry, then poisoned them, then killed them.
Rep. Mace’s letter to the NIH calls the wasteful cordectomies “cruel” and a “reprehensible misuse of taxpayer funds” (Fact Check: TRUE!)
The full letter is available to read here.
Anthony Fauci funded “research” involving injecting and force-feeding 44 beagle puppies toxic drugs, then killing and dissecting them. NIH paid to have them “de-barked,” meaning to have their vocal cords severed so lab techs don’t have to hear their cries as they torture them.

Taxpayers are sick and tired of funding the NIH’s puppy abuse: A new poll found that 62% of Republicans, 64% of Independents, and 71% of Democrats all wanted to defund NIH’s gruesome tests.
I’m proud to join my colleagues in demanding answers from Dr. Fauci about abusive testing on beagle puppies, like Buddy and Bowser, that he funded with taxpayer dollars. pic.twitter.com/Tpx5x4c3DH

Here’s more from @WhiteCoatWaste, the group that has brilliantly united left and right lawmakers in Congress around the cause of animal rights and sick experiments on dogs, by focusing on federal money spent on these totally useless but immoral programs:https://t.co/73am5B9YH3

In addition to Rep. Mace, the letter was signed by Cindy Axne (D-IA), Cliff Bentz (R-OR), Steve Cohen (D-TN), Rick Crawford (R-AR), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Scott Franklin (R-FL), Andrew Gabarino (R-NY), Carlos Gimenez (R-FL), Jimmy Gomez (D-CA), Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ), Fred Keller (R-PA), Ted Lieu (D-CA), Lisa McClain (R-MI), Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), Brian Mast (R-FL), Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC), Scott Perry (R-PA), Bill Posey (R-FL), Mike Quigley (D-IL), Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA), Maria Salazar (R-FL), Terri Sewell (D-AL) and Daniel Webster (R-FL).
NIAID spent $1.68M in taxpayer funds to perform unnecessary & inhumane drug tests on 44 beagle puppies, killing some. I’ve joined an effort by @NancyMace to get answers for both taxpayers and animal lovers. https://t.co/Ff2xgylEC6

We’re grateful for the bipartisan interest in reining in the NIH’s beagle tests. The letter is proof that Congress is listening to us and listening to you, so take action today!
NO DOGS WILL EVER BE DEBARKED IT’S THEIR NATURE TO BARK THEY ARE SUPOSE TO BARK SO LEAVE THEM ALONE😠🖓
Think of all the animals being tortured via botched medical surgeries & vivisections due to unqualified researchers performing dangerous surgical procedures with no or little mentoring. Medieval barbers still exist in the 21st century and roam the research labs with impunity. This is what lack of regulation & oversight does to create a barbaric research environment.
