Last month, White Coat Waste Project (WCW) co-hosted a Capitol Hill briefing attended by over 100 Congressional staffers about our work to end wasteful taxpayer-funded animal testing and retire survivors from federal labs.
Following the event, WCW and lab survivor Uno, the very first dog our friends at Kindness Ranch rescued from Envigo, Fauci’s and the National Institutes of Health’s beagle supplier, spent a few days in Congress meeting with waste warriors from across the political spectrum who are working with us to get the government out of the animal testing business.
Roll call:
Today our office was visited by @WhiteCoatWaste & Uno, a beagle that was rescued from one of Dr. Fauci’s cruel animal-testing facilities.
We’re continuing our fight against abusive animal testing & have introduced legislation to prevent BILLIONS in taxpayer dollars from going… pic.twitter.com/yyrR152yud

Thank you Sen. Lummis for years of leadership to crack down on wasteful NIH spending, including at the Wuhan animal lab, and for supporting our work with Wy’s Kindness Ranch to get survivors like Uno retired from government labs funded by Fauci & others.
Thank you Rep. Bishop for years of outstanding leadership on efforts to get dogs like Uno retired from tax-funded experimentation labs!
