  • White Coat Waste’s new “Seeing Red” investigation exposed videos and other evidence of cruel NIH-funded experiments on dogs and other animals in dozens of Chinese labs, including ones with ties to the Chinese government and military
  • The NIH is currently paying a Chinese lab over $2 million U.S. tax dollars to force-feed and inject puppies and other animals with experimental drugs
  • The story made national headlines and prompted swift action from Republicans and Democrats in Congress
  • Based on WCW’s findings, the House and Senate introduced new bipartisan legislation, the CLAWS Act, requiring annual reporting on taxpayer funding for animal labs in China

White Coat Waste Project’s new “Seeing Red” investigation exposed how the National Institutes of Health is still shipping millions of tax dollars to Chinese animal labs that are using your money to torture dogs and other animals.

WCW’s revelations made headlines and front page news:

Members of Congress who have been working with WCW to defund NIH’s dog and cat testing at home and abroad and all animal labs in China quickly condemned the wasteful and abusive taxpayer-funded dog tests exposed by WCW.

Based on our new findings, Congress quickly sprang into action and introduced the bipartisan Chinese Laboratory Accountability and Watchful Spending (CLAWS) Act to require all federal agencies to report to Congress annually on their funding for animal labs in China.

You can help! Tell Congress to pass the bipartisan CLAWS Act to require transparency about taxpayer funding for animal labs in China!
