- To coincide with Tax Week, White Coat Waste (WCW) has launched a national “WTF RFK?” ad campaign targeting Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. for continuing to fund Fauci-era animal labs.
- Our investigations have exposed how, under RFK, Jr., the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has renewed and extended millions in funding for wasteful, deadly experiments on dogs, cats, bats, and primates first approved by Dr. Fauci — despite promises to cut them and the authority to do so.
- WCW’s “WTF RFK?” billboards are running in seven U.S. cities where the NIH is still bankrolling Fauci-era animal tests.
- The billboards direct taxpayers to MAHABetrayed.org, a new website where they can email RFK, their Congressional representatives, and Trump officials.
- WCW’s blockbuster exposés first uncovered Dr. Fauci’s reckless spending on gain-of-function experiments in Wuhan and beagle labs worldwide, making ending animal testing a MAGA and MAHA priority.

As The New York Times recently featured, White Coat Waste’s (WCW) landmark investigations were the first to expose Dr. Anthony Fauci’s reckless spending on gain-of-function experiments in Wuhan and beagle labs worldwide, making ending animal testing a MAGA priority. Fox News also declared that WCW’s campaigns “have become so mainstream in the MAHA movement and they’ve gotten results.”
President Donald Trump’s Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. — who helped amplify WCW’s exposés uncovering Fauci’s funding for the Wuhan lab, Beaglegate, and related cover-ups — promised to hold Fauci and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) accountable.
Instead, we’ve documented how, since Sec. Kennedy took office, his NIH has renewed wasteful, deadly tests on dogs, cats, primates, and other animals first approved and funded by Fauci, and doled out millions more in taxpayer dollars to those projects.
WTF RFK?
To coincide with Tax Week, WCW has launched a coast-to-coast ad campaign across seven U.S. cities where RFK’s NIH is still bankrolling Fauci-era animal labs exposed by our investigations.
- Washington, DC: Inside the NIH’s own DC-area laboratories — just a short drive from RFK’s downtown headquarters — experimenters are still infecting monkeys with Ebola, HIV-like viruses, COVID, and tuberculosis. RFK’s NIH has also renewed millions in funding for Fauci’s Monkey Island in South Carolina.

- Columbia, MO: RFK’s NIH extended and renewed funding for Fauci-era maximum-pain experiments at the University of Missouri, in which over 400 beagles — including dogs purchased from disgraced breeder Ridglan Farms with taxpayer dollars — are infested with ticks, denied pain relief, and killed.
- Fort Collins, CO: The NIH doled out over $2 million in new funding for a project at Colorado State University that imports and breeds hundreds of bats for dangerous experiments with Ebola, coronaviruses, and other deadly pathogens. WCW has been fighting this lab since 2023.

- Hamilton, MT: RFK’s agency has continued to fund dangerous, cruel animal tests at the NIH’s own Rocky Mountain Laboratory, where — as WCW first uncovered — primates, bats, and thousands of other animals are infected with deadly viruses like Ebola, Nipah, COVID, and Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever and exposed to bioagents like anthrax. In these experiments, often conducted without any pain relief, animals suffer severe symptoms including fever, bleeding, seizures, organ failure, and death.

- Portland, OR: Despite RFK’s pledge to work with WCW to end primate tests, his NIH dished out millions more taxpayer dollars for Fauci-era experiments at the abusive Oregon Health and Science University’s primate center, in which monkeys are infected with pneumonia, HIV-like viruses, and malaria in painful and deadly tests.
- Athens, GA: The NIH doled out $1 million in new funding for Fauci-approved experiments at the University of Georgia, where dogs and cats are intentionally infected with parasites to test vaccines and abused as living test tubes to grow organisms for other labs. The ongoing tests — which WCW first exposed in 2021 at the height of Beaglegate — cause animals to ‘vocalize in pain’ and suffer swelling, coughing, and breathing problems before being killed.

- Los Angeles, CA: RFK’s NIH re-upped funding for a Fauci-era grant to the University of California-Los Angeles that pays experimenters to infect primates with deadly viruses that cause vomiting, pain, seizures, hemorrhaging, and organ failure. The NIH even cut a new $753,610 check to this monkey lab in December 2025.

WCW’s billboard directs taxpayers to MAHAbetrayed.org, a new website where they can email RFK, their Congressional representatives, and other Trump officials.
Fauci wasn’t just a paper pusher. For over half a century at NIH, he personally conducted deadly virus tests on primates and funneled billions in taxpayer funding to animal labs around the world each year. Fauci admitted to Congress that he signed off on the animal experiments funded by his $6.5 billion NIH division.
Unfortunately, WCW’s investigations have exposed that Fauci’s animal testing legacy is alive and well under Secretary Kennedy and Fauci’s replacement, Jeffrey Taubenberger, a shady NIH gain-of-function experimenter who helped him cover up a likely lab leak in Wuhan.
As the press and legacy animal rights groups give RFK a pass and praise him for empty promises about reducing animal experiments, we’re holding his feet to the fire until he defunds Fauci’s labs and shuts them down for good.
Funding Fauci’s animal labs isn’t making America great or healthy.
TAKE ACTION NOW: Tell RFK, lawmakers, and other Trump officials to defund Fauci’s animal labs!
