Good news: Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy’s new Department of Government Efficiency is targeting wasteful government animal tests exposed by White Coat Waste Project!
Referencing National Institutes of Health-funded animal labs first exposed by WCW and Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), Elon and Vivek tweeted that projects like the Kremlin’s cat lab, Monkey Island, hamster fight club, and meth head monkeys belong on the chopping block.
Some of the stupid NIH spending being called out includes boondoggles that WCW exposed with Sen. Paul in his Festivus waste reports in 2022 and 2023 including:
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

Government animal testing is a $20 billion boondoggle and we’re proud that Vivek and Elon are targeting stupid spending that we first exposed.
As our president and founder discussed in a new op-ed, Ramaswamy tweeted this month that, “Animal cruelty will eventually become a genuine concern for conservatives. It’s already happening. Count me in.” He followed up with, “Shouldn’t be a partisan issue to end animal cruelty.” Musk has amplified WCW investigations of Fauci’s beagle tests and NIH bat virus labs, and criticized Fauci’s funding of gain-of-function at the Wuhan animal lab.
A growing majority of taxpayers—Republicans, Democrats, and Independents alike—oppose Uncle Sam’s wasteful, dangerous, and cruel animal experiments at home and abroad and they shouldn’t be forced to foot the bill.
DOGE can save billions of tax dollars and millions of animals by cutting the F.A.T.: federal animal testing.
