What a night! What an event!

Thank you so much to everyone who joined our emergency telephone town hall with Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA)!

Sen. Ernst recently joined White Coat Waste Project to given an update on our campaigns to investigate and defund to the Wuhan Animal Lab and to Stop NIH Foreign Aid all around the world.

If you couldn’t make the event, or you’d like to listen again, we’ve got a recording here:

Joni Ernst is one of the premier Waste Warriors in the U.S. Senate. And she’s been working hand-in-hand with our team to win the War on Waste:

  • Introduced the STOP Act to cut payouts to any taxpayer-funded grantees like EcoHealth that violate federal law or refuse to answer questions from Congress.
  • Introduced the COST Act, a transparency bill requiring all taxpayer-funded animal experimenters to publicly disclose the cost of their wasteful projects.
  • Demanded answers about rogue labs’ chronic and ongoing noncompliance with a long-standing law that requires anyone receiving taxpayer dollars to publicly disclose how much they spend.
  • Signed a letter urging the NIH to keep its prohibition on taxpayer-funded hybrid animal experiments intact.
  • Introduced an amendment to the Innovation and Competition Act that that passed the Senate to permanently prohibit taxpayer funding from going to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
  • Introduced Delilah’s Law to prohibit government labs for purchasing dogs and cats from wet markets in China.
  • Signed a letter to ensure no US stimulus money was sent to Wuhan Animal Lab
